		</div><p>King Charles and Camilla the Queen Consort will make their first state visit to France and Germany from 26 to 31 March, Buckingham Palace has confirmed.</p>
<p>President Emmanuel Macron of France will host a state banquet for the royal couple at the Palace of Versailles. After leaving the French capital Paris they will continue onwards to Berlin in Germany during a six-day visit.</p>
<p>In Germany, the King will address the German Parliament, the Bundestag making him the first British sovereign to do so. Part of the Royal Couple’s schedule will include a visit to memorials to Allied bombing in Hamburg and to young Jewish refugees who fled the Nazis.</p>
