<p>Nicki Minaj has said creating her own lipstick is a &#8220;dream come true&#8221;.</p>
<p>The US pop star donned a multi-coloured wig and a striking orange dress to launch her new MAC lipstick, Pink Friday, in New York.</p>
<p>&#8220;This had been my dream for a very long time &#8211; I&#8217;ve dedicated my entire life to this album, and to have a company of MAC&#8217;s magnitude get behind my little fantasy world seems surreal,&#8221; she said.</p>
<p>The candy pink shade was inspired by Nicki&#8217;s new album of the same name. </p>
<p>&#8220;This shade is similar to the one I&#8217;ve worn for years by MAC but with a little extra zing!&#8221; she continued.</p>
<p>&#8220;I wanted a colour that represented female empowerment as well as euphoria. The colour makes you feel free to rule the world. It&#8217;s sexy, yet fun &#8211; it pops! It&#8217;s theatrical. It turns heads. No matter your age, Pink Friday makes you feel like you&#8217;re the life of the party,&#8221; she added.</p>
<p>Nicki&#8217;s MAC Pink Friday lipstick &#8211; a play on words from the US Black Friday holiday &#8211; will be available for four Fridays from November 26.</p>
<p>&#8220;It represents change. The day has been called Black Friday all my life. I wanted to make a splash that week similar to how I&#8217;ve made a splash in hip hop which has always been male dominated,&#8221; she explained.</p>
