		</div><p>The 24-hour London tube strike that started yesterday has caused unprecedented chaos for commuters. Thousands struggled with getting to work and to make this worse the cost of Uber taxi firms have gone up 4 times more.</p>
<p>Londoners and businesses consider this strike a huge disruption that is unnecessary but London Underground said it had not received a response to the latest ‘fair and competitive’ pay offer made to the unions. </p>
<p>This latest walkout by London Underground staff has been become more severe and harsh on commuters because it coincided with a separate 48-hour walkout by First Great Western staff.<br />
Members of the union already rejected a final pay offer by London Underground which it considered a generous offer of 2% rise this year and a £2000 extra for drivers on the weekend night Tube service. This was rejected because some members claim that the new plans would be disruptive to their new members lives.</p>
<p>Mayor Boris Johnson says this strike is unnecessary and was causing a huge disruption to London and businesses. Already business groups said the strike would cost the capital’s economy millions of pounds.</p>
<p>London Underground staff will resume services on Friday morning, the 10th of July 2015.</p>
