		</div><p>The bodies of a man and his 12-year-old grandson have been found several miles apart on a desert trail in central Arizona.</p>
<p>It is believed the boy died while going for help.</p>
<p>The two had gone hiking and their bodies were discovered in mountainous desert near Gila Bend, about 50 miles south-west of Phoenix, according to the Maricopa County sheriff’s office.</p>
<p>Sheriff’s spokesman Chris Hegstrom identified the victims as 63-year-old Thomas Gillespie, of Tucson, and Robert Miller, of Prescott Valley. Officials are determining a cause of death.</p>
<p>A search began after a woman called officials on Wednesday afternoon to report her father and son had not been heard from since Tuesday morning.</p>
<p>Mr Hegstrom said a hotel manager where the two were staying said they left Tuesday morning to go hiking.</p>
