		</div><p>One person has been shot during an anti-Trump rally in the US city of Portland.</p>
<p>Police tweeted to say that they are investigating a shooting in which one man was injured on Morrison Bridge, and appealed to all in the area to leave immediately.</p>
<p>In a follow-up statement, police said early information indicated the suspect was in a vehicle on the bridge and there was a confrontation with someone in the protest. The suspect got out of the vehicle and fired multiple shots, injuring the victim.</p>

<p>Officers near the scene arrived quickly and provided medical aid until an ambulance arrived to transport the victim to a Portland hospital for treatment to non-life-threatening injuries.</p>
<p>The suspect fled the area, likely in the vehicle described as a gray or silver sedan.</p>

<p>The suspect is described as an African American male, late teens, 5&#8217;8&#8243; tall, thin build, wearing a dark-coloured hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.</p>
<p>Several witnesses remained at the scene and spoke to investigating officers.</p>
<p>It is the third night of anti-Trump protests taking place across several US cities.</p>
<p>The President-Elect has commended the protesters&#8217; &#8220;passion&#8221;, after first calling the protests &#8220;very unfair&#8221;.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, in his first post-election interview Donald Trump praised Hillary Clinton. In an interview with 60 minutes on CBS News, he praised the manner in which she spoke to him while conceding the election.</p>
<p>He also softened his position on the &#8216;Obamacare&#8217; health insurance and healthcare plan, saying he intended to keep elements of the plan, including continuing cover for people with pre-existing condition.</p>
