<p>George Michael is to release his first new music since being let out of prison &#8211; a cover version with all proceeds going to charity.</p>
<p>The singer has recorded a version of New Order&#8217;s top five single True Faith with profits being given to Comic Relief.</p>
<p>George was released from prison in October after serving half of an eight-week sentence for drug driving.</p>
<p>He was arrested three months earlier after being found slumped at the wheel of his Land Rover in Hampstead, north London.</p>
<p>The singer&#8217;s new single will be released as a download on March 13, with a CD out the following day.</p>
<p>New Order have also agreed to give their proceeds to Comic Relief.</p>
<p>George has previously given the profits from his single As with Mary J Blige to the charity, and appeared in a special Little Britain sketch.</p>
<p>Charity founder Richard Curtis said: &#8220;It&#8217;s always so moving when people stick with us year after year &#8211; and we&#8217;re thrilled and delighted about the song, and the wonderful video that goes with it.</p>
<p>&#8220;We promise we&#8217;ll use every penny we make from it to save and change lives in Africa and all over the UK.&#8221;</p>
