		</div><p>Microsoft has announced a new app, called Fetch!, that can use an iPhone camera or image library to identify dog breeds.</p>
<p>Not only can it identify breeds, but it can tell you what kind of human personality meshes well with particular breeds. And for a bit of fun, the app can also tell you what type of dog you or your friends might be.</p>
<p>Development director at Microsoft Research, Mitch Goldberg, explained that his team wanted to create an app that makes object recognition &#8220;extraordinary, fun and surprising.&#8221; He added, “We wanted to bring artificial intelligence to the canine world. We wanted to show that object recognition is something anyone could understand and interact with.”</p>
<p>Previous apps from this particular team include How Old that guesses the age of a person from a picture, and the Mimicker Alarm, which forces you to mimic a particular action to turn it off.</p>
<p>You can share the results of Fetch! on social media, so you can let everyone know the breed of dog that you just found or what breed of dog you are.</p>
