		</div><p>More than 1,000 people have complained about Sky News presenter Kay Burley’s interview with the Alton Towers boss after four people were seriously hurt at the theme park when two carriages collided on a rollercoaster.</p>
<p>A spokesman for UK communications watchdog Ofcom said: “We have received 1,162 complaints about Kay Burley’s interview with Alton Towers chief executive Nick Varney on Sky News on June 3.</p>
<p>“We will assess these complaints before deciding whether to investigate or not.”</p>

<p>Among viewers complaints were allegations that Burley was overly aggressive during the interview when she questioned him about safety at the park and the extent of the injuries suffered by the people involved.</p>
<p>Leah Washington, 17, was among the most seriously injured, and has had her left leg amputated above the knee and suffered a fractured hand in the incident.</p>
