<p>Liam Neeson has been talking about the death of his actress wife Natasha Richardson and how he has dealt with his grief.</p>
<p>Actress Natasha died almost two years ago, at the age of 45, from head injuries following a skiing accident in Canada.</p>
<p>Her actor husband has revealed he was initially unable to see his dying wife because no-one at the hospital knew who he was.</p>
<p>The Clash Of The Titans star told the US edition of Esquire magazine: &#8220;I walked into the emergency&#8230; and for the first time in years, nobody recognises me. Not the nurses. The patients. No-one&#8230; and they won&#8217;t let me see her.&#8221;</p>
<p>Liam, 58, went outside the Montreal hospital and found two nurses having a cigarette.</p>
<p>He said: &#8220;I walk up, and luckily one of them recognises me. And I&#8217;ll tell you, I was so f****** grateful &#8211; for the first time in I don&#8217;t know how long &#8211; to be recognised&#8230; So I get there just in time.&#8221;</p>
<p>When Liam found Natasha he was told &#8220;the worst&#8221;.</p>
<p>The Hollywood star told the March issue of the magazine that the grief still hits him &#8220;in the middle of the night&#8221; and added of going back to work: &#8220;I think I survived by running away some.&#8221;</p>
