<p>NERD would like to join forces with MGMT.</p>
<p>Shay Haley reckons that his bandmates Chad Hugo and Pharrell Williams could come up with something interesting with psychedelic rockers Ben Goldwasser and Andrew VanWyngarden.</p>
<p>&#8220;A collaboration with NERD and MGMT would be pretty sick,&#8221; Shay said. </p>
<p>NERD &#8211; who are playing an exclusive show at London&#8217;s Troxy on November 27 for the Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Project &#8211; are working on a track with Damon Albarn, after supporting Gorillaz on tour.</p>
<p>&#8220;We&#8217;re working on a song with him. He is a genius, a cool guy,&#8221; Pharrell admitted.</p>
<p>But he declined to reveal any further details, saying: &#8220;I can&#8217;t do that. He&#8217;s like us &#8211; we like to keep everything veiled until it&#8217;s time.&#8221;</p>
<p>NERD, who are celebrating 10 years of music-making with the release of their greatest hits compilation The Best Of NERD on January 10, promise more &#8220;incredible music&#8221; for the next decade.</p>
<p>&#8220;Music is changing and it&#8217;s becoming even more exciting. The invigorating, ground-breaking stuff is on its way back, and I think rock &#8216;n&#8217; roll is going to come back in a huge way,&#8221; said Pharrell.</p>
<p>&#8220;Kanye&#8217;s [West] new album is dope, we&#8217;re happy that Lil Wayne is home. We&#8217;re excited to see what Chris Martin does next, the joint Jay-Z and Kanye record should be interesting, and Nicki Minaj is arriving.&#8221;</p>
