		</div><p>Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage declared that he wanted to the shortest serving MEP in history as he cast his ballot in the European Parliament election in the UK.</p>
<p>Mr Farage also delivered a warning to Westminster’s MPs about their prospects at the next General Election if they do not “listen to the people”.</p>
<p>Speaking to reporters outside a polling station near London Biggin Hill airport, Mr Farage said: “I hope to be the shortest lived MEP in history.</p>
<p>“If you want Brexit, you’ve got to vote Brexit.</p>
<p>“We did it once, they ignored us, so we’re going to tell them again.</p>
<p>“This time they will realise it isn’t just the votes we get today, it’s what we might get at a General Election that would cost them all their jobs.</p>
<p>“So they better listen to what people have to say today or they’ll all be unemployed.”</p>

<p>When asked who he voted for inside the polling booth, Mr Farage appeared to mock suggestions that the arrow-shaped Brexit Party logo gave the party an unfair advantage on ballot papers.</p>
<p>He said: “Well, it was a very tough choice.</p>
<p>“I looked for the arrow that pointed to the ballot box, it made it easier.”</p>
<p>Mr Faraage, who had a milkshake thrown at him in Newcastle on Monday, was asked if he wanted to throw a milkshake at European Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker.</p>
<p>He replied: “Of course not. I just tease him.”</p>
