In 2011 the sports clothing giant teamed up with the Michael J Fox Foundation to find a cure for Parkinson’s disease, by designing a version of the classic Nike Mag shoe which responds to the human body.

Five years later, Nike have unveiled the fruits of their labour and an exclusive draw to win one of fewer than 100 pairs of the shoes currently in existence.

Each entry costs $10 and all proceeds will go to the Michael J Fox Foundation and their efforts towards finding a cure for Parkinson’s.

Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 1992 at the age of 31, but kept his condition secret until 1998. He has been a vocal supporter of research and charity efforts towards combating the condition ever since.
