<p>Olly Murs has revealed he would like to continue the tradition of Brit Awards controversies by kissing Cheryl Cole on stage at the ceremony.</p>
<p>The former X Factor finalist is nominated for Best Single for his song Please Don&#8217;t Let Me Go, in the same category as X Factor judge Cheryl.</p>
<p>Olly said his idea for a Brits stunt would be to: &#8220;Get up on stage and snog Cheryl. That would be amazing, wouldn&#8217;t it?&#8221;</p>
<p>He added: &#8220;If she&#8217;s performing. I don&#8217;t know if she is.</p>
<p>&#8220;Every year there&#8217;s always something outrageous. I&#8217;m not really that kind of character though. I&#8217;m a bit cheeky but I don&#8217;t think I&#8217;d be able to get up and do something that outrageous.</p>
<p>&#8220;But if I get a few drinks down me, anything could happen.&#8221;</p>
<p>On being nominated for a Brit, Olly said: &#8220;Just to be nominated is the best feeling in the world, it really is. It&#8217;s been a great 18 months. Just to be a part of this amazing night and to see all the great artists that are here it&#8217;s incredible, it really is.&#8221;</p>
<p>Ellie Goulding, who has been propelled to stardom since she was awarded the Brits Critics&#8217; Choice award in 2010, was bowled over to be nominated for two awards this year.</p>
<p>She said: &#8220;It feels really amazing. I didn&#8217;t expect to be up for one, let alone two, and I get to go to the Brits again and have lots of fun.&#8221;</p>
