<p>Police have charged a man with the murder of his partner, who was found dead in their garage weeks after she was last seen by relatives.</p>
<p>Music teacher Andrew Lindo, 28, will appear at Huddersfield Magistrates&#8217; Court on Thursday charged with the murder of mother-of-two Marie Stewart, 30.</p>
<p>Her body was found inside a suitcase at her home in Perseverance Place, Holmfirth, West Yorkshire, on Sunday.</p>
<p>A post-mortem examination carried out on Monday showed her death was caused by multiple stab wounds and blunt force trauma.</p>
<p>Police confirmed they were contacted on Saturday morning by relatives of Ms Stewart, who were concerned because they had not seen her since Christmas.</p>
<p>The body was discovered at the house by police checking out the report.</p>
<p>Lindo and a 29-year-old woman were arrested at the house in connection with the death.</p>
<p>The woman was later released without charge while detectives continued to hold Lindo.</p>
<p>Forensic teams have been conducting a detailed examination of the newly-built rented townhouse which is on an estate between the villages of Holmfirth and Holmbridge.</p>
