<p>David Cameron is to hold talks with business leaders in Downing Street on how Britain can boost its international trade.</p>
<p>The Prime Minister is to host the summit at Number 10 as he seeks to show the country is &#8220;open for business&#8221; again under the coalition.</p>
<p>The event is set to be attended by senior figures who have agreed to act as UK Business Ambassadors.</p>
<p>JCB boss Anthony Bamford, CBI head Sir Richard Lambert, and Brent Hoberman of Lastminute.com are among those who hold the role.</p>
<p>It will also be former HSBC chairman Lord Green&#8217;s first official engagement as trade minister.</p>
<p>Mr Cameron said: &#8220;International trade and investment is absolutely crucial to Britain&#8217;s economic growth, helping to create and safeguard thousands of jobs at home.</p>
<p>&#8220;So I am delighted that Stephen has joined the Government to drive forward our trade mission.</p>
<p>&#8220;Stephen&#8217;s international business experience will be a real asset to the Coalition, helping Britain to forge strong international relationships, open new trade links and attract high quality inward investment into the country.&#8221;</p>
