</div><p>Let’s just take a moment to remember that Pope Francis is on Instagram.</p>
<p>Yes, that is him joining in with a group selfie.</p>
<p><a href="http://londonglossy.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/image-66-e1461673941813.jpg" rel="attachment wp-att-89370"><img src="http://londonglossy.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/image-66-e1461673941813.jpg" alt="image" width="600" height="609" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-89370" /></a></p>
<p>However, as much as he seems to love having a steady social media presence, the Pope has told teenagers gathered in Rome – during a three-day long celebration dedicated to youth – that they need to get off their phones, basically.</p>
<p><a href="http://londonglossy.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/image-63.jpg" rel="attachment wp-att-89367"><img src="http://londonglossy.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/image-63.jpg" alt="image" width="600" height="400" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-89367" /></a></p>
<p>He reportedly told the teens during mass (and there’s a sample on an Instagram post): “Your happiness has no price. It cannot be bought and sold: it is not an application you download on a mobile phone.</p>
<p>“Even the latest version cannot help you to grow and become free in love.”</p>
<p>Well, he obviously hasn’t used the latest Snapchat filters that much then has he.</p>
<p><a href="http://londonglossy.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/image-65.jpg" rel="attachment wp-att-89369"><img src="http://londonglossy.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/image-65.jpg" alt="image" width="600" height="364" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-89369" /></a></p>
<p>Around 70,000 teenagers were in St Peter’s Square in Vatican City for the weekend of events – they’re celebrating Francis’s Jubilee year dedicated to the theme of mercy.</p>
<p>As well as the advice on technology, 16 teenagers also had the unexpected opportunity to confess their sins to Pope Francis.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, a video message from him was even broadcast at a rock and rap concert being held in the Stadio Olimpico.</p>
