<p>A police investigation is under way after the dead bodies of an elderly man and a woman were found.</p>
<p>The couple, believed to be husband and wife, were found by their son at a house in Kendal, Cumbria, on Friday night.</p>
<p>It is not yet known if their deaths are suspicious.</p>
<p>A spokesman for Cumbria Police said: &#8220;At 7.40pm on Friday, 18th February, police were called to a house in Kendal after the dead bodies of an elderly male and female were found by their son and daughter-in-law.</p>
<p>&#8220;Police are currently investigating the circumstances.</p>
<p>&#8220;Post-mortem examinations will be conducted on Saturday.&#8221;</p>
