		</div><p>Retailers here have said they are already feeling the pinch caused by the Brexit vote in the UK.</p>
<p>Voters will go to the polls to decide whether or not the UK will leave the European Union on June 23.</p>
<p>IBEC has said the uncertainty around the ballot is having serious consequences for business people in the Republic.</p>
<p>Retail Ireland Director Thomas Burke has said the uncertainty around the future of trade agreements is causing real concern: “We don’t know what the implications might be practically on a day to day basis.</p>
<p>“Should the UK citizens take the decision to leave the European Union and it is really that uncertainty that is driving a lot of the concern.</p>
<p>“We have come out of six years of very difficult trading for the Irish retail sector and any uncertainty impacts upon the consumer.</p>
<p>“That uncertainty leads to reduced sales and that is hugely negative from a retail perspective.”</p>
