<p>Emmy Rossum has revealed she is still on good terms with ex-boyfriend Adam Duritz.</p>
<p>The couple split two months ago, but harbour no bad feelings towards one another.</p>
<p>&#8220;We&#8217;re still very close friends,&#8221; the 24-year-old actress told USA Today.</p>
<p>She first met the Counting Crows frontman, who is older than her by 22 years, on Twitter and they were soon spotted together around autumn 2009.</p>
<p>Emmy had split from her then-husband, music producer Justin Siegel, in August 2009.</p>
<p>But the actress &#8211; best known for her roles in The Phantom Of The Opera and The Day After Tomorrow &#8211; has other things to occupy her mind, such as her new TV series Shameless, the US adaptation of the hit British show.</p>
<p>&#8220;This is [the] happiest I&#8217;ve ever been in my whole life,&#8221; she said.</p>
<p>&#8220;Hollywood doesn&#8217;t provide you with tons of opportunities if you&#8217;re a woman. I choose to work on material that inspires me &#8211; where I feel like I can add something to world, even if just little bit.&#8221;</p>
