		</div><p>Several people have been injured in an explosion near the Turkish ruling party headquarters and the governor&#8217;s office in the eastern province of Van, according to Turkey&#8217;s state-run news agency.</p>
<p>The Anadolu agency said the explosion occurred on Monday morning on the first day of Eid al-Fitr, an Islamic holiday.<br />
Burhan Kayaturk, a member of parliament from the ruling AKP party, told private channel HaberTurk that there are 11 wounded.</p>
<p>Ambulances have rushed the wounded to nearby hospitals and many police cars and fire engines have been dispatched to the area.</p>
<p>Turkey has suffered a string of attacks in recent months from both Kurdish militants linked to the outlawed Kurdistan Workers&#8217; Party or PKK as well as from Islamic State, resulting in dozens of casualties.</p>
