		</div><p>Several people have been injured in a shooting at a bar in Blacksburg, Virginia, US police said.</p>
<p>Officers in Blacksburg said they responded to reports of shots fired at Melody Hookah Lounge on Main Street.</p>
<p>A number of people were taken to local hospitals, but the extent of their injuries is not yet known.</p>
<p>Nearby, Virginia Tech university was placed on lockdown, with students warned on Twitter to stay indoors.</p>
