<p>Sharon Stone has said she feels safe now, after obtaining a restraining order against a man who police say was found in her home earlier this month.</p>
<p>Sharon revealed on CNN show Piers Morgan Tonight: &#8220;We have described him as mentally ill and he is currently in a lockdown of a psychiatric unit. So we feel safe. </p>
<p>&#8220;The police really were wonderful. We&#8217;re so lucky to have such a terrific police unit here. And they knew exactly what to do and they did a very good job. And it&#8217;s been handled really well.&#8221;</p>
<p>Bradly Gooden, who a police detective described in court filings as delusional and possibly schizophrenic, was ordered to stay 100 yards away from Sharon&#8217;s house and her three children.</p>
<p>The actress&#8217; filings state Gooden was found trespassing at her home on February 11 and police placed him on a psychiatric hold.</p>
<p>He was released earlier this week, the filings state.</p>
<p>Det Jeff Dunn wrote in a declaration that Gooden believes Sharon&#8217;s home was given to him by Mrs Clinton and that he penned the screenplay for the Academy Award-nominated film The King&#8217;s Speech.</p>
<p>&#8220;It is my professional opinion that Mr Gooden has a delusional and abnormal fixation on Ms Stone and her property, and that he poses a real security concern, credible threat of violence, and imminent danger to the health and welfare of Ms Stone and, potentially, her minor children,&#8221; Det Dunn wrote.</p>
<p>Sharon also submitted a sworn statement that she was afraid of Gooden, whom she has never met.</p>
<p>Sharon is perhaps best-known for her role in the thriller Basic Instinct and received an Oscar nomination for her role in Casino in 1995.</p>
