		</div><p>Skyrocketing Net Migration: It’s at 318,000!<br />

<p>Migration is a very big topic as of late, especially with the previous results of the General Election. According to the Office of National Statistics, net long-term immigration increased to a whopping 318,000. As much as Prime Minister David Cameron says he wants to bring net migration to the “tens of thousands” he has once again let down on his promise and this has prompted him into bring about a EU referendum in late 2017. During 2014, 641,000 people immigrated to the UK, a significant difference from the 526,000 people in 2013. But lets break down these people into categories. Out of these numbers there were 25,020 asylum seekers, with the largest numbers coming from Eritrea (3,552), Pakistan (2,421) and Syria (2,222). Now as much as we would like to complain about how our population is rapidly growing. We have to bear the responsibility for these asylum seekers since we were the ones who supported confrontation in Syria, and the ones who supported the bombings maybe not individually, but as country.</p>
<p>I’m sure some of you have seen the Channel 4 special called “The Romanians are Coming”, if not, it’s nothing to worry about. I can reassure you that they are truly coming. In 2013, 23,000 Romanian and Bulgarian citizens immigrated to the UK, and this figure rose to 46,000 in 2014. Out of that total, 35,000 were coming to work. Not sure where the rest of them went, however. Now, I’m not the type to say I told you so, and I’m sure Nigel Farage isn’t as well. The sad truth of it all is that he did warn the public of the troubles that lie ahead. He said that at the rate immigration was growing, we would have to build ‘a new house every 7 minutes’ just to keep up. Now we all know that is physically impossible and unless we leave the EU then we won’t have an opportunity to control our borders. Just recently, the EU Commission announced that more migrants need to be distributed to the members, and we all know where those migrants are going to want to live; a place where you can have easy access to health care, child benefit, and housing benefit. </p>
<p>Mr. Cameron has set the date for the referendum to be at the end of 2017, which is just way too long. However, you have a chance as soon as it comes to really end this saturation of the British population. The people should be given the chance to govern themselves, and build back up what makes Britain Great.</p>
