A man arrested over alleged violence during the student fee protests has been released on bail, Scotland Yard has said.
The 24-year-old was picked up by officers on Friday on suspicion of violent disorder during the December 9 demonstration in central London. He has since been bailed until a date in June, the Metropolitan Police said.
Officers have arrested more than 200 people, most in their late teens and early 20s, since students first took to the streets on November 10 to protest at the proposed hike in student fees.
Last week, Hampshire student Edward Woollard was imprisoned for throwing a fire extinguisher from the roof of the Millbank complex which houses Conservative Party headquarters.
The 18-year-old was jailed for 32 months after admitting violent disorder during the first outbreak of student protest disorder.
