<p>David Hasselhoff could step in as a judge for the next series of Britain&#8217;s Got Talent, it has been reported.</p>
<p>The Hoff &#8211; a regular visitor to the UK who is soon to appear in a London panto &#8211; has previously been on the US version of the show.</p>
<p>The Sun claimed the former Baywatch star has been approached to replace Simon Cowell as a judge on the show for next year&#8217;s run.</p>
<p>Show boss Simon will soon be busy with the US version of his other talent search The X Factor, due to launch next year.</p>
<p>Hasselhoff quit America&#8217;s Got Talent earlier this year and has had a well-publicised battle with drink problems.</p>
<p>The actor &#8211; a cult star for his appearances in TV series Knight Rider and as lifeguard Mitch Buchannon in worldwide hit Baywatch &#8211; will appear in panto as Captain Hook in the New Wimbledon Theatre&#8217;s Peter Pan this month.</p>
