		</div><p>Four leading US Democrats have called for the FBI to investigate whether Donald Trump&#8217;s presidential campaign was involved in the recent hack of Democratic Party computers.</p>
<p>The Democratic representatives wrote to FBI Director James Comey that his agency should examine whether the Republican candidate&#8217;s campaign and Russia conducted cyber attacks &#8220;to interfere with the US presidential election&#8221;.</p>
<p>The letter notes connections between Russia and Trump aides, including former campaign manager Paul Manafort.</p>
<p>He resigned following revelations of past work for a pro-Russian political party in Ukraine. Some experts believe Russia was behind the hack of the Democratic National Committee that led to the release of thousands of Democratic documents.</p>
<p>The Democracts making the call were Elijah Cummings of Maryland, John Conyers Jr of Michigan, Elliot Engel of New York and Bennie Thompson of Mississippi.</p>
