		</div><p>Turkey has advised its citizens not to travel to Russia.</p>
<p>It comes amid the escalating tension between the two countries over Turkey&#8217;s shooting down of a Russian military jet near the Syrian border.</p>
<p>Turkey&#8217;s foreign ministry has said it is advising against non-urgent trips, following difficulties faced by Turkish visitors and residents in Russia.</p>
<p>This news follows reports that Turkish businessmen were detained in Russia for visa irregularities while attending a trade fair.</p>
<p>Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan has warned Russia “not to play with fire”.</p>
