In fact&comma; there are more families without children&period; The data showed that in 2015 there were at least 7&period;8 million families without children&comma; an increase form the 7&period;5 million families in 2005 without children&period; The data was collected and compared to 1996&comma; and the results showed that around 6&period;6 million 15 to 34 year olds still lived with their parents&comma; up from the 5&period;8 million in 1996&period; Although the number increased over a period of time&comma; the percentage of the total population who still live with their parents increased from 36&percnt; to 40&percnt;&period; This probably due to an increased number of those wanting higher education or training for longer periods of time&comma;
