		</div><p>A police officer in the UK has been charged with seven counts of rape.</p>
<p>Pc Michael Graham, 47, attached to Hounslow borough in London, was arrested at home earlier this month and has been suspended, Scotland Yard said.</p>
<p>Graham is charged with seven counts of rape and one count of assault which are alleged to have taken place between December 24, 2013 and September 2, 2014.</p>
<p>He was arrested while off duty on October 6.</p>
<p>Officers in the sexual offences exploitation and child abuse unit are investigating Graham, who is said to have been off duty when the alleged offences were committed.</p>
<p>Graham is to appear in Uxbridge Magistrates&#8217; Court on Wednesday, October 21.</p>
<p>Scotland Yard said The Directorate of Professional Standards, a police body that investigates the conduct of officers, had been informed.</p>
