		</div><p>The woman who survived an on-air shooting that killed two TV journalists in Virginia has been released from hospital.</p>
<p>Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital spokesman Chris Turnbull said Vicki Gardner was released on Monday.</p>
<p>Ms Gardner, the executive director of the Smith Mountain Lake Chamber of Commerce, was answering questions about the community on live television when the shooting took place on August 26.</p>
<p>Her husband, Tim Gardner, has said doctors removed one of her kidneys and some of her colon.</p>
<p>The gunman, Vester Flanagan, ambushed WDBJ-TV cameraman Adam Ward and reporter Alison Parker during the interview at the Smith Mountain Lake Visitor Centre.</p>
<p>Mr Parker and Ms Ward died of gunshot wounds to the head and body.</p>
<p>Flanagan fatally shot himself after a police chase.</p>
