<p>Jon Voight says he hopes his daughter Angelina Jolie will join him soon on a visit to Israel.</p>
<p>A long-time supporter of the Jewish state, the actor is visiting the country with likely US presidential candidate Mike Huckabee.</p>
<p>The Academy Award-winning actor, who was estranged from Angelina for years, said his celebrity daughter was well aware of his &#8220;affection for Israel and the Jewish people,&#8221; but that he doesn&#8217;t know where she stands on the nation.</p>
<p>Jon revealed he would &#8220;love to see&#8221; UN goodwill ambassador Angelina at his side &#8220;coming on a visit to Israel&#8221;.</p>
<p>He added: &#8220;That would be a nice thing before I go.&#8221;</p>
<p>The 72-year-old has starred in such movies as Midnight Cowboy, Deliverance and Coming Home.</p>
