<p>Naomi Watts has signed up to star in Clint Eastwood&#8217;s movie about FBI director J Edgar Hoover.</p>
<p>The British-born Australian actress has been cast alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and Ed Westwick, Variety said.</p>
<p>Naomi, 42, will play Helen Gandy, the longtime personal secretary to FBI director Hoover.</p>
<p>Helen worked for Hoover from 1918 until he died in 1972.</p>
<p>Hoover was made director of the Bureau of Investigation in 1924 and head of the FBI when it was founded 11 years later.</p>
<p>Dame Judi Dench is also set to star in J Edgar, with Leonardo playing the title role.</p>
<p>Naomi will be seen next in the thriller Dream House, alongside Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz.</p>
