		</div><p>It may surprise you to see just how insecure your password is. BetterBuys launched a tool that estimates how long it would take to crack your password.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s for entertainment purposes only, so it doesn&#8217;t actually collect your password and it&#8217;s only an estimate. While it doesn&#8217;t collect passwords, it still advises against using your actual password.</p>
<p>The tool shows you how long it would take to crack your password right now, but you can also test it as far back as 1982 or up to 2020. It&#8217;s interesting to see the impact of the evolution of technology and techniques in cracking over time. Needless to pay, &#8220;password&#8221; is and always has been a terrible password.</p>
<p>BetterBuys says that this tool can give you an idea of the impact an extra letter or symbol can make.</p>
