<p>Willow Smith has confessed she sometimes just wants to play with her friends instead of working on her pop career.</p>
<p>The 10-year-old daughter of Hollywood stars Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith is tipped to top the charts this week with her debut single Whip My Hair, and she apparently told NME magazine her music career has to come before play time.</p>
<p>Willow said: &#8220;Famous-ness is awesomeness&#8230; but some parts of famous-ness can be hard.&#8221;</p>
<p>She went on: &#8220;The hardest part is wanting to hang out with your friends when you have to work and make platinum records. And your friends come over, and you&#8217;re recording, and you&#8217;re like, &#8216;Please let me go with my friends. I don&#8217;t wanna stay here!&#8217; But people are relying on you.&#8221;</p>
<p>But that hasn&#8217;t dampened the tween pop star&#8217;s ambition &#8211; as she wants to be bigger than Lady Gaga.</p>
<p>She said: &#8220;I would like to be a very well-known artist. I would like to be as big as Lady Gaga. I would like to be bigger&#8230; I&#8217;d like to be a big rock star.&#8221; </p>
<p>Willow is signed to Jay-Z&#8217;s record label and is working on her debut album for release next year.</p>
<p>She revealed the songs will be about the things she loves best, &#8220;partying, having fun [and] eating.&#8221;</p>
<p>Willow&#8217;s 12-year-old brother Jaden starred in the remake of the Karate Kid and rapped on 16-year-old Justin Bieber&#8217;s track Never Say Never.</p>
<p>Willow is confirmed to support Justin on his forthcoming European tour, which kicks off in Birmingham on March 2011.</p>
