London Glossy announces it’s partnership with Debby Footwear in a new initiative to tackle child poverty improve the lives of several refugee children and children from impoverished backgrounds.

According to the United Nation Refugee agency, 68.5 million people around the world have been forced from their home as a result of persecution, conflict and violence with nearly nearly 25.4 million refugees under the age of 18.

This is set to rise with the various unrest in different parts of the world especially the hot spots in the Middle East. What makes it worse is the huge rise in the unaccompanied and separated child refugees making it extremely dangerous for these children.

The rise in child poverty has now reached epidemic levels that it may become worse than a genocide in years to come. We have to act now and reach out to as many children as possible so that these children can have the opportunity to possibly live a better life.

Quoting Alan Greenstein, Board Member, London Glossy,

“Every Child deserves the best, every child deserves to have their dreams realised. But childhood poverty can hamper those dreams. We must strive to lift up these children’.

Project Hope provides food, clean water and blankets for impoverished children displaced from war. Child poverty is so chronic that are thousands of children die of malnutrition yearly.
