<p>The ex-Chelsea forward faces a battle to resume his career in the Chinese Super League after suffering the horrific leg break.</p>

<p>Playing for Shanghai Shenhua, Ba’s left leg tangled with defender Sun Xiang and was left at a right angle.</p>
<p>The X-ray makes almost as grim a viewing as the incident itself.</p>
<p>“It could end his professional career,” manager Gregorio Manzano said.</p>
<p>“I would rather lose the game than lose Ba.”</p>
