<p>A man has died in a crash involving a lorry, a single-decker coach and three cars on the M5.</p>
<p>The 30-year-old from Birmingham, who was driving one of the cars, was killed in the collision close to junction eight in Gloucestershire at around 7am on Sunday.</p>
<p>Three of the 18 people travelling on the coach were taken to hospital with minor injuries, while the remaining passengers were moved to another vehicle.</p>
<p>A Gloucestershire Police spokesman said the motorway remains closed in both directions while an investigation is carried out.</p>
<p>The force said the road is shut northbound between junction 11 and eight and southbound between junctions eight and nine.</p>
<p>Motorists are facing long delays and are advised to find an alternative route for their journey.</p>
<p>Anyone who witnessed the accident is asked to contact police on 08450 901 234 quoting incident 132.</p>
