wrapped and placed under the tree&comma; besides the cards have to be written and sent&comma; and most importantly the cakes&comma; pies and cookies have to be baked&period; However on Christmas morning&comma; we would all prefer to sit back and relax&comma; this is possible if you are smart enough to prepare some make-ahead recipes the night before&period; These super easy recipes can be made a day before&comma; Cover with cold water&period; Bring to the boil&period; Cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until tender&period; Drain&period; Return to the pan&period; Season with salt and pepper&period; Add 2 tablespoons cream and 1 tablespoon spread&period; Mash until smooth&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;<strong>2&rpar;<&sol;strong> Meanwhile&comma; preheat oven to 200C&sol;180C fan-forced&period; Heat oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat&period; Cook chicken&comma; in batches&comma; for 5 minutes or until browned and just cooked through&period; Transfer to a bowl&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;<strong>3&rpar;<&sol;strong> Reduce heat to low&period;
