<p>A head-on train crash in Germany&#8217;s east has killed 10 people and injured 43 others, 18 of them seriously, a German news agency has reported.</p>
<p>The DAPD agency cited local police as saying that a passenger and a cargo train crashed head-on near the town of Oschersleben in Saxony-Anhalt state.</p>
<p>It said rescue operations were under way. </p>
<p>Police had no immediate information as to what could have caused the accident late on Saturday evening.</p>
