<p>There was a time in the mid-1990s when women besieged salons with photos of Jennifer Aniston to copy her haircut.</p>
<p>The layered cut was given the name &#8220;the Rachel&#8221; after Aniston&#8217;s character in the Friends television comedy series, Rachel Green. She wore the style in the show&#8217;s first and second seasons.</p>
<p>But one person who was not a fan of &#8220;the Rachel&#8221;, was Aniston herself.</p>
<p>Aniston, now 41, tells the February issue of the US magazine Allure it was not her best look.</p>
<p>&#8220;How do I say this? I think it was the ugliest haircut I&#8217;ve ever seen,&#8221; she says. &#8220;What I really want to know is, how did that thing have legs?&#8221;</p>
<p>Aniston&#8217;s long-time hairstylist Chris McMillan came up with the cut. He still works with her today.</p>
