		</div><p>BET Awards 2025 was hosted by Kevin Hart, celebrating the work of black people in music, entertainment, film, sports and philanthropy.<br />
Star studded event in Los Angeles was attended by top music artists, producers and famous names like Tyler Perry, Jamie Foxx, Kerry Washington to name a few.</p>
<p>The awards showcased unforgettable performances from Snoop Dogg, Mariah Carey, Kirk Franklin and more.</p>
<p>Here are a few award highlights for the ceremony:</p>
<p><strong>Kendrick Lamar</strong></p>

<p>Superstar,Kendrick Lamar has a had a remarkable year and has won numerous awards already this year including 22 Grammys awards and 57 Grammy nominations. He won big again receiving five Awards at the 2025 BET Awards: </p>

• Video of the year — Not Like Us<br />
• Best Collaboration — luther<br />
• Video Director of the Year (With Dave Free)<br />
• Best Male Hip-Hop Artist</p>
<p><strong>Jamie Foxx</strong></p>

<p>Jamie Foxx accepted the one of the four Ultimate Icon Awards given for his positive contribution to music and entertainment industry. Jamie Foxx is one of the most talented entertainers of our generation. Hilarious comedian, incredible actor and gifted musical artist. </p>
<p>Jamie teared up during his speech about his stroke and his family got emotional as he reflects on his stroke while accepting the Ultimate Icon Award. He mentioned that his stroke made him realise how precious life is.</p>
<p><strong>Snoop Dogg</strong></p>

<p><strong>Kirk Franklin</strong></p>

<p>Kirk Franklin was awarded the Ultimate Icon Award, a well deserved award. His performance was absolutely fantastic, ultimately turning the BET Awards into big time praise party. He got everyone in high spirits, clapping, stomping and dancing. Definitely the best performance of the evening.</p>
<p><strong>Cynthia Erivo</strong></p>
