<p>Prince William and Kate Middleton will be travelling to Canada this summer on their first official trip as a married couple, a Canadian official has said.</p>
<p>The official, who spoke anonymously, said the newlyweds would travel across the Commonwealth country from the end of June to mid-July.</p>
<p>William and Kate, who will marry on April 29, will take part in Canada Day celebrations in Ottawa on July 1 and their stay will also include a trip to the Arctic, the official said.</p>
<p>Prime minister Stephen Harper invited the couple to Canada after they announced their engagement last November. </p>
<p>Canada is also issuing stamps in their honour. </p>
<p>The wedding is set for April 29.</p>
<p>Though Canadians are somewhat indifferent to the monarchy, most have great affection for the Queen, whose silhouette marks their coins.</p>
<p>The Queen visited Canada last July and pronounced it &#8220;good to be home&#8221; as she embarked on her 22nd official visit to the country. </p>
<p>She also visited Ottawa for the country&#8217;s birthday.</p>
