		</div><p>With the controversy surrounding the lack of black nominees at this year’s Oscars, everyone wondered how host Chris Rock would address it. The obvious answer was: with a lot of humour.<br />
Here’s how he opened the ceremony.</p>
<p>The comedian earned a lot of praise for the way he tackled Hollywood’s perceived racism, and his overall performance as host.</p>
<p>There was, however, a bit of confusion at Chris’s implication that minorities in America today had nothing else to protest.</p>
<p>As well as directly addressing police brutality. </p>
<p>And by the end, there were probably a lot of drunk people watching on at home…</p>
