<p>The Coen brothers could be turning their hands to horror.</p>
<p>Joel and Ethan Coen have been Oscar-nominated for their latest offering, the western True Grit.</p>
<p>Asked whether he&#8217;d ever consider doing a full-on horror movie, Ethan told Empire magazine: &#8220;Funny you should ask, yes, we&#8217;re working on a couple of scripts now, one of which it would be fair to call a full-on horror movie.&#8221;</p>
<p>He joked of his brother&#8217;s actress wife: &#8220;Frances McDormand is the monster.&#8221;</p>
<p>Empire said that while he was not being serious about Frances, who appeared in the Coen brothers&#8217; film Blood Simple, Ethan sounded sincere about making a horror film.</p>
