<p>Daryl Hannah is apparently set to star in the film adaptation of Chuck Palahniuk&#8217;s book Snuff.</p>
<p>The Kill Bill actress would play ageing porn star Cassie Wright in the big screen version, directed and co-written by Fabien Martorell, Chuck has revealed on his blog.</p>
<p>American Beauty star Thora Birch will play &#8220;talent wrangler&#8221; Sheila and Black Hawk Down&#8217;s Tom Sizemore has been cast as Mr 600, the man who is responsible for introducing Cassie to the business.</p>
<p>The 2008 novel follows three men waiting in a crowded basement for their turn in a sex scene, who &#8220;reveal they all have more at stake than simply securing their spot in adult entertainment history&#8221;.</p>
<p>Snuff is described as a suspense/thriller set in the gritty world of adult entertainment.</p>
<p>Fabien apparently hopes to shoot the film as a single &#8220;closed door&#8221; set, and use flashbacks to communicate the character history.</p>
<p>The script was co-written by Karina Wilson.</p>
