		</div><p>Common, who picked up an Oscar for Selma’s Glory, will star opposite Keanu Reeves in John Wick 2.</p>
<p>Plot details are being kept under wraps so far, but The Hollywood Reporter says that Common will act as head of security for a female crime lord, and will be the movie’s main antagonist.</p>
<p>Common is primarily known for his musical exploits, but has built up an acting resume that includes performances in Selma, Wanted, and Run All Night. He recently wrapped up filming Barbershop 3 and will next be seen in Suicide Squad.</p>
<p>John Wick 2 is set to begin shooting this week under the direction of Chad Stahelski. David Leitch co-directed the first film alongside Stahelski, but is now preparing to shoot spy thriller Coldest City with Charlize Theron and James McAvoy.</p>
<p>John Wick 2 will be released some time next year.</p>
