<p>A woman and her partner who were arrested on suspicion of the murder of a two-year-old boy have been released on police bail.</p>
<p>Keanu Williams, known as Kiwi to friends and family, was pronounced dead in hospital on Sunday night.</p>
<p>West Midlands Police said he was taken to hospital from an address in Old Moat Way in the Ward End area of Birmingham at 7.42pm.</p>
<p>Keanu&#8217;s 22-year-old mother and her partner, 29, were released without charge after four days of questioning.</p>
<p>A police spokesman said: &#8220;The 29-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman arrested in connection with the death of Keanu Williams have this evening been released on police bail.</p>
<p>&#8220;Family liaison officers continue to support the family during this difficult time.&#8221;</p>
<p>Police said a post-mortem examination carried out on Tuesday indicated the child died from &#8220;non-accidental injuries&#8221;.</p>
