		</div><p>EastEnders’ Paul Coker was killed off in Monday night’s episode in a huge shock twist.</p>
<p>Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) and Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) were led to believe it was Phil’s son Ben (Harry Reid) who had been involved in an incident and was in a “critical condition” in hospital after a receiving a phone call from the police.</p>
<p>&#8220;Oh no. Paul! ??#Eastenders&#8221;, some said in shock.</p>
<p>The pair raced to the hospital where they were asked to identify the body of the now-deceased young man.</p>
<p>As they prepared to view the body, a heart-broken Phil told Ian: “I just wish it was me. I don’t want to see.”</p>
<p>But viewers were stunned when it was revealed that it was Ben’s boyfriend Paul, played by Jonny Labey, who was lying cold in the hospital bed.</p>
<p>Ben’s whereabouts are still a mystery after the pair were last seen heading off for a night out together before the tragedy occurred.</p>
<p>It had been revealed in April that Jonny was due to quit the show, but bosses had kept his means of exit quiet.</p>
<p>Fans were left in shock by the twist.</p>
