<p>German police are investigating two hackers who allegedly stole songs from Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Kesha and Kelly Clarkson, selling them online and forcing the advanced release of several singles.</p>
<p>Chief prosecutor in the city of Duisberg Rolf Haferkamp said that a 17-year-old student and a 23-year-old unemployed man earned more than 10,000 euro (£8,400) in illegal sales.</p>
<p>Mr Haferkamp said the two allegedly used trojan viruses to hack into the artists&#8217; computers for several months before being discovered.</p>
<p>The student, an amateur DJ, also allegedly downloaded a sexually compromising photo of one artist and used it to blackmail them.</p>
<p>The investigation should be concluded by January and could lead to criminal charges.</p>
