<p>Sir Anthony Hopkins says it&#8217;s not certain he&#8217;ll play Alfred Hitchcock on the big screen.</p>
<p>At the Hollywood premiere of his new thriller The Rite, the legendary Welsh actor discussed the rumours that he&#8217;s set to play the filmmaker.</p>
<p>&#8220;Yes sometime this year maybe, maybe not, it depends if they get the money to put it together,&#8221; he revealed.</p>
<p>Sir Anthony explained: &#8220;You know making movies today is so weird because sometimes you get to the brink of being about to make them and then suddenly they all fall apart.</p>
<p>&#8220;I don&#8217;t know, I&#8217;ll see how it goes. I&#8217;ll believe it when I&#8217;m standing in front of the camera and even then I might not believe it!&#8221;</p>
<p>The Rite tells the story of an American priest who reluctantly travels to Italy to study at an exorcism school. Hopkins plays a priest actively practising exorcisms in the city.</p>
<p>The 73-year-old told reporters how he keeps in such good shape.</p>
<p>&#8220;My wife makes me exercise and she&#8217;s very strict about my food,&#8221; he revealed on the red carpet. </p>
